The Grand Premiere of Adhiran took place on 22nd November 2025 at PVR Cinema, marking one of the most celebrated events in recent Sri Lankan film history.
The night was graced by Sri Lankan Superstar Ranjan Ramanayake, along with numerous VIPs, cinema industry artists, directors, producers, technicians, and media personalities.
The overwhelming audience turnout filled the venue beyond expectations — so much so that PVR Cinemas screened the premiere simultaneously in two halls to accommodate the massive crowd.
This unforgettable evening not only showcased the film but also highlighted the rising influence of Adrian Productions in the Sri Lankan film industry, making the premiere of Adhiran a landmark event

First pooja for adhiran film
The journey of Adhiran began with a sacred Poojai ceremony on 1st June 2024 at Manikka Vinayagar Kovil, Colombo 4, seeking divine blessings for a smooth and successful production. A second Poojai was held on 26th June 2024 at Maskeliya Kovil, marking the spiritual start of the filming process

Following the second Poojai, the filming of Adhiran officially commenced in the scenic upcountry regions. The team captured 23 consecutive days of footage across Maskeliya, Hatton, Nallathanni, Gate More, Upcot – Swamimalai, Mausakalai, Watawala, and Norwood, followed by an additional 3 days of shooting in Colombo, bringing the story to life with dedication and hard work
